Meandering trip, met some friends for campfire chat at Glamis, then went up a dirt road to camp away from the sand rails. Evening stroll to the base of the dunes, then the next morning did a nice loop to see the dune primroses and study all the tracks over the sand of the inhabitants. It wasn't windy yet and I had a nice time of it; love sand dunes---I also love creekside hikes in the desert so go figure. Mostly rolling sand dunes, no huge piles, but interesting and lightly vegetated on the periphery.
