I did this hike with JamesLyding, sarichter, and James' buddy John, also a fellow Steeler fan. The views of the canyon were very nice. On the way up we were mostly in the shade, which helped keep us from overheating. The views at the top were great, but you have to be careful getting too close to the edge on the little balcony up there. The lighting on the way back favored the western side of the canyon as compared to the morning. I felt very good afterwards after such a large vertical climb, much better than I expected. The soreness may come tomorrow after a decent night's sleep.
