Hiked Wild Burro Canyon in the Tortolita Mtns. Took trail from temp TH to the site of the new Ritz Hotel and then stayed in canyon. Just past the line shack at 2.5 miles ran into a box. Had to back track to the line shack and take trail to bypass box. Back in canyon at 3.5 miles. Ran into another box at 3.9 miles. Bushwacked up right side of canyon and found trail just prior to Alamo Spring. Then stayed in canyon heading NE to a cattle tank and windmill. took a lunch break. 5.8 miles coming in. Back tracked to Alamo Spring and stayed on trail for the way out. 3:42 in and 2:48 out.
