It was a stormy yet spectacular day, although the snow at the top of Mingus Mountain made it hard to see the rocks. Fortunately, at the stop by the mine in Jerome and the stop at the switchbacks were snow free. Got some cool samples of some metamorphic rocks. I also determined that Pete, my geology professor, is absolutely nuts.
