What a nice little hike! Did this trail from Cloudview this morning with HikerinGilbert and two of my friends from work, Darlene & Barb. Hit the TH around 7:10 and it was already a little on the toasty side. Lots of chatter on the trail BARB LOL

My pedometer is still all messed up so I'm estimating the miles (and going by Tom's more accurate pedometer)...I think it was around 3 miles round trip. The trail is a bit rocky for the first 3/4 mile but easy to follow and the views of the petroglyphs are awesome at the terminus. Lots of bees & dragonflies in the small stagnant pools of water. Spent at least 20 minutes at the petroglyphs clambering around the rocks. Was dismayed at the idiots who added their own graffiti to this beautiful area.

Will do this trail again in the cooler, wetter months when water may be flowing through the canyon but enjoyed it all the same today.
