My first time in the Catalinas. Amazing hike with just about everything you could ask for - running water, flowers in bloom, good elevation change along the way. Noticing I had forgotten my boots upon arriving, I stomped all 8.6 miles out in flip flops. Also we barely dodged a monsoon, it started pouring as we drove down the mountain and back home. Never a bad time on the mao.
