Went in at 8:30, trying to beat the heat and the crowds. The wildflowers were putting on quite a show. Everything is green, the water is warm, the crowds showed up about 12:00. When I got back to my car at 1:30, it was 90 degrees! I HATE graffiti--could this the same "artist" that drew the hearts in West Clear Creek? This one was very recent(see date on the tag). Sometime I'll stop on the switchbacks with a wire brush to get rid of the spray painted tag on one of the big turns above the hatchery--it really bugs me every time I drive past.
