Quick overnighter at Horton Creek. I camped where the highline crosses the creek. On the hike back I almost missed out on meeting fellow HAZ member Vaporman because my ipod was blasting in my ears so loudly. Luckily he got my attention and we had a few minute chat before heading our separate ways. I intended on checking out the Water Wheel hike on the East Verde on the way home but was turned off by all the traffic. I decided to just high tail home and avoid any inevitable accidents on the beeline later in the afternoon.
