HAZ Day on Humphrey's. Went up with my brother, sarichter, & Wally. Saw Tortoise Hiker (Denny) and rlrjamy (Bob) below the saddle, and Joe B above the saddle. "Who's that smiling guy wearing the sandals?"
The good thing about hiking Humphrey's on a Sunday is that the trail is less-crowded, but the bad thing is suffering in the traffic on I-17 from Rock Springs until the 101 junction. Ugh.
Beautiful day to do this mountain even though it was quite windy towards the top. Thankfully the rock shelters @ the top did their job. My brother did this hike wearing shorts and a short-sleeve shirt...but didn't bring any layers. I wholeheartedly warn against doing this, and my brother definitely agrees after-the-fact. Got to the top in 3 hours, 15 minutes.
