I wasn't too impressed with the lower sections of this trail as the forest is not incredibly healthy. The upper portions are better with old growth ponderosas, aspens, firs and spruces. Unfortunately, there is no lookout tower at the top so you don't really get any views. Yet another "Glad I did it once, probably won't do it again" trail.
