I really enjoyed this hike. We left the TH a little after 530am (which was the perfect time

). We saw several Elk between 5:30-6:00 and they even serenaded us. The hike up Kendrick was nice and pretty much void of rocks. We topped out at the cabin in less than 2 hrs and stashed some water for later. The hike down Bull Basin was awesome. Denny brought his saw and did some trail maintenance. He also had his magic staff. This time we stayed on the trail the whole time. On the Pumpkin trail, we stopped for a snack and I did some pinkie toe maintenance. I topped out the 2nd time at about noon and talked to the tower guys (Rick and Matt). I missed Denny rolling the trail

doing the "cramp dance". But that Genuinepelli told me the story, this was after his first words... which were bite me.

It's always a pleasure hiking with Denny. It was great meeting BBscout. She was a great sport and put up with us. The hike down Kendrick seemed like it was never going to end. Denny told me he's going to Photoshop Kurt's umbrella and have me clicking my heels. Ok its my umbrella which did come in handy during the deludge, or rain, or drizzle,or sprinkle. It was a great day on Kendrick and not one mention of blue lights.

Time includes 2hrs and 4 minutes of breaks and such.
