Took the day off work today to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary with the woman I love - my wife Lynn.

Wanted a late morning leg-stretcher with the dog in temperatures something less than 110 degrees currently in the Valley. 85 degree temps of Pinal Mountain seemed in order, so Lynn, Skippy and I loaded the F-150 and hit the road...

We were entertained by a pack of coatimundis near the bend just above the sawmill ruins. Lynn counted 24 coatis in the pack! Don't know if we captured any images. Let's just say we were challenged by the speed, light, and thick underbrush...

Don't know if this trail is a major wildlife magnet, but I've only been on this trail twice and we've had a bear encounter first trip and now a pack of coatis!
