Beautiful day for hike. Trailhead is at 5,500 feet so we noticed that right away and it made the climb up to the ridge seem longer than it really was. Only one small patch of snow to navigate near the top. Lots of hikers and backpackers on the trail today. Great views of Mt. Jefferson at the top as well as Mt. Hood. Will definitely have to check out the Jefferson Park area the next time.
