Okay, so this really isn't a hike, it's a walk. But with a rainy day forecast for Flagstaff, I thought a drive to Sunset Crater (raining), Wupatki (raining) and the G.C. would be a nice way to spend the day. Entered GC through the Cameron turnoff. Made various stops at the overlooks. Parked at the Village; went from Kolb Studio to near Yavapai Point and back. The canyon was really hazy and the rain clouds built up all afternoon, ending in a good rain just after sunset. Too hazy for good pix, but took some pix of deer under the rim. Hoped to find sheep--no luck this time.
