Finally made it to this fantastic place! A friend that is involved with rescuing some of the stray pups and adopting them out invited me along for a spay/neuter/vaccination clinic at Supai village. The clinic was hopping, so we didn't have a chance to hike down to the falls until late the second day- but it was well worth the wait. Absolutely gorgeous setting, feels like you have fallen into paradise. A few last-minute vaccinations and euthanasias set back the departure time, so it was a bit warm on the trek out- thankfully a well-timed cloud drifted over for that last mile and a half push out. Whew, exhausting, but so very rewarding. I'll be back!!!
