I absolutely loved this hike. I have thought for years that this mountain would be a very tough hike and it turned out to be manageable. This trip made up for my bushwhack nightmare on Apache Peaks just two weeks ago. Don't get me wrong. I don't regret hiking Apache peaks. Hiking Apache Peaks is a true accomplishment and the views go forever but Sevenmile Mountain was a much better package deal. Seven Mile Mountain is rewarding from start to finish and considerably easier. I will definitely revisit this hike some day. Locations like this continue to completely amaze me of what this state has to offer and just how majestic and stunning Gods creation truly is. You can spend your lifetime exploring the Arizona backcountry and never touch the surface of all that is out there to see.
