Started the Vineyard trail at the bridge on Lake Roosevelt, another
attempt to do more of the AZ trail. Went to Mills Ridge and continued up
the continuing trail (four peaks or Vineyard ? theres only one)
another 3 miles for about a 9 mi day, was about 0.5 mi from Shake spring.
I was hoping to check out the spring in the morning but the trail gets
very sketchy at that point and I didnt have time to get lost. This is a pretty
hard hike, I gained about 4k feet one way and there was more to do ! Great views too,
somewhat marred by a fire about 25 mi to the north. Near the end on the return I
was treated to (assuming my little monocular didnt fool me) two bald eagles soaring above me.
