Ultra sweet & short canyon, close to home!

It was so great to stay on route all day --> thanks to the expert route finding skills of Nonot and his friends! We climbed up boulders and under boulders. We walked through tunnels and did a 127.2 foot rappel. I enjoyed the entire trip, well minus the nasty thorny bushes. (I wonder if there is any lasting social value in that stuff?) I did manage to tear the pockets off the seat of my pants from slipping and sliding down boulders. The canyon was pretty much shaded the entire time so the low light wasn't so great for photos....but perfect for MY liking.

We set up a shuttle starting at the Tortilla TH and left a second car at the bridge for the return.
