It was a nice overcast day for this hike. Not many people on the trail today, but we did get out there early. Our main goal for this hike was to take a picture for our Christmas cards with Weaver's needle in the background. We did it! We were supposed to have a 3rd hiker to take our pictures, but she couldn't make it. We went anyway, couldn't figure out the self timer on the D40X, but luckily I had tossed our Cannon point and shoot in the pack so it worked out well.
