My husband and I started out in the dark. The hike description was easy to follow. There wasn't anyone else out, didn't see anyone until we got back to the parking lot! Most of this hike is walking through sandy washes, so that is a little tiring. No noticeable elevation gain so that helped! I loved the views of the river, Saguaro Lake and Four Peaks! Didn't see the wild horses, but I heard one! It was too dark to see where it was coming from though, darn!
