Hiked up with Angela, Linda and John and an absolutely delightful day. Easy pace and wonderful weather made it a photohike for me. The trail is nice, elev gain not bad and I loved the summit! We even threw in a bonus side trip to the Mica mines at the base.

Drive in was straightforward. No issues with sand or anything else. The place was quite busy though
