Started at about 6:30am and did the first mile or so in the dark with my headlamp. The main goal for this trip was to get some miles in before the marathon 16+ miler next week in Cave Creek and to officially log the Coachwhip Trail. Done and done. The clouds didn't make for many good pictures, the sunrise pics being the best of the lot, it seemed. Saw more mountain bikers than hikers, which is normal for this area. Finished just before noon.
