I skied the road because that day it would have been hard to get very far out of town in my vehicle, and none of the trailhead parking had been plowed. I wish I had taken some photos up high, though. I skied up past the Elderberry Springs area, starting at the Eagar Town Yard. Coming down, especially the first couple of miles, it was a constant descent, very fun! Going up was a nice little workout. My muscles were sore the next day, that was a good thing, I needed that! I also skied into the Water Canyon Trailhead of the Overland Trail. The snow was very deep and fluffy, very slow going, so I went back to the road. Snowmobiles had made a good track up higher. Down low, there were 4WD trucks. That snow was very warm and melting fast.
