| | | Good little hike. The sign-in sheets inside the summit register jar were soaked. We added a dry sheet, but I'm sure it's now soaked. Saw that AZLOT had signed the register. I'll post my GPS route because it seemed like the easiest way up and down. The route we took down looks like the best route (it's the more western leg of our route). I'm sure that Tibber will have lots of "Wendys" posted later.
Had lunch @ Tortilla Flat afterwards. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, and it was past 3:00 PM! I would recommend staying away from the burger and going for the chili. The chili was great, and prickly pear ice cream was a nice afternoon treat. Tortilla Flat was jammed, but the road in-and-out wasn't too bad. Canyon Lake is as brown as chocolate milk from all of the sediment carried into it by runoff from the recent rains.
