A gorgeous Sunday in the desert called for a hike. Decided on the Praying Hands in the Sups for its close to home and easy to follow (or so I thought!). I managed to take the wrong trail right from the get-go at the Crosscut parking lot (you need to go right immediately after the first wash at the trailhead and not straight) and was rewarded with a bushwhacking off trail climb to the formations never even hitting the Treasure loop trail (righted my wrong on the return trip). Many people out with me on the trails (that is when I got back on the trails!) all enjoying a great winter day in the Superstitions.
