Re: Why I Bag Peaks - NOT!!!!!

@sidhayes Speaking of cylinders, I watched Death Zone the cleaning of Everest yesterday Available on Amazon Prime. It’s about Sherpas that were removing trash and corpses from the peak. The amount of trash left behind by “Nature Lovers” was staggering.

Snake Gaiters Check, and what about Lions, Tigers, and Bears? Oh My!
Your money would be better spent on a foldable bee veil, and the Garmin in reach device. Bees will kill you and you can't get away. With the In Reach, it's like Uber in the back country.

Re: Western Drought

The Sierras are going great, but they don't feed the Colorado River. That is true, however they provide water to the largest state in the Colorado River Basin, and if there is enough snow pack it helps reduce the load on the Colorado River usage. It's important that all of the Western states receiv...

Just imagine how beat up my feet will look! I love it. I have to disagree. I pamper my feet with triweekly pedicures, and Birkenstock Sport Footbeds. Because I hike, my feet are not token badges of honor. What you're suggesting is foolishness. Litmus test for what you are suggesting, would be the U...
