Re: What's in your first aid kit?

Won't pounding a hand full of these Zip Fizz things fix or cure about anything?

Re: Hydration - Water isn't the best

@outdoor_lover Caffeine! 5 or 6 on the list are typically high in caffeine. Chumley did say at the beginning this came from CNN.

Re: Hiking with dogs

@LindaAnn That seems ridiculous? Perhaps just another example of the evolution of human laziness. You know, lights that turn on when you walk in the room, fast food delivered to your house, keyboards that predict your next keystroke, etc... Might as well just stay home and a watch a you tube video ...

Re: 44? Hikers Rescued from Lost Dutchman State Park Overnight

@chumley I was on the Mormon trail Saturday morning and on the way back down a heard a lady go off on another lady for short-cutting the trail. I thought maybe she was employed by the FS. Another hiker defended the woman saying the trail has many splinters and it's hard to tell which is the actual ...

Re: 44? Hikers Rescued from Lost Dutchman State Park Overnight

@skatchkins
Another source says they were all the same group from Kansas. Several of them tried clicking their heels together 3 times, but nothing happened, so they called for rescue.

@chumley
I wonder what they consider to be the Cragin watershed? Seems like most of the U-Bar would drain east of the reservoir, into Barbershop/Dane, entering ECC below Cragin.
Or is it just all the same because it's close?

CC Cragin vehicle limit

Hello,
Has anyone been to CC Cragin and been turned away? I didn't think there was room for 45 vehicles to park there anyway. Probably not an issue if you show up early in the day. Will FEES be next?

Re: Proposed fee changes for Mogollon Rim campgrounds

None of those changes are going to cost me a dime, and probably the same for most HAZ people?
But up to $20 for a nice single campsite is fair, if that's your game.

@nonot
Mountain bikes can be fun in this area too. I think driving in from 87 to 142 is a not as rough as coming in from 260 to 144/149? 149 is usually terrible.

@tmuncy
Maybe? Kokanee or Chinook salmon might grow quickly to a size that would prey on all of the 6-10” stocker sized rainbows that get stocked by the thousands in the same lakes. But who knows, maybe Chevelon?
