I spoke with John at the Tonto Mesa District Office who confirmed that closure 12-17-291 is still in effect and being in the two areas outlined in the map is prohibited during the given dates of December 1 through June 30. Yes the west siide TH.
East & South motorized access to the wilderness is temporarily closed.
Borderland travel precautions are in place.
Prison west of the wilderness.
Fleeing north is allowed but there is a shooting closure.
Curb excitement, wilderness limits apply.

North Maricopa Mountains Loop

The Eagle has another wedding function. If a few or more tag along I'll hit a 16ish mile loop I have planned for the Maricopas SW of the Sierra Estrella Range. Rather easy, except a large portion is off trail. Poppies were decent a week ago.

- offline maps are available for the last 5 files set to follow as displayed on the homescreen of RS
- only the last file set to follow will show that route on the map
