Re: John McCain came to Page

Dude I went to the chuckbox and remembered too late that they only take cash, so I went to Dave's Dog house instead, which was amazingly tasty. So the chuckbox will have to wait at least until thursday...

Re: John McCain came to Page

On an even more light-hearted note some of us believe that Alex needs to get over to The Chuckbox (forget that Smashburger corporate grease-pit despite its awesome Freedom Fries) to fulfill his true destiny as an Arizona State Sun Devil. It'll put some meat on your bones! I'll be there around 2:00 ...

Re: John McCain came to Page

Gandhi's quote is one we understand: 'First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.'" Wow just re-reading that post. I find it amazing that they could compare themselves to Gahndi or take any quote from him. Gahndi worked his whole life for peace... these tea bag...

Re: John McCain came to Page

The one thing that would be worse than sending John McCain back to the Senate, would be sending JD Hayworth in his place. On an vaguely related note... I really enjoy the radio ads by Sarah Palin, they are the only ones I remember, I just remember when she says "John McCain is a savage... bla bla bl...

Re: Reavis Ranch Backpack 4-10/11-10

I think if I join a group hike next weekend it'll be Stiller's cottonwood-skull mesa loop. Leaves Saturday night open and such. If you're really just doing it for the miles you might consider hopping in on that one, its new territory.

Re: Skull Mesa-Cottonwood Loop, Sunday Apr. 11

As of right now, I'm leaning towards coming on this one... but we'll know for sure when it gets a bit closer. I'd lobby for a later start time, but for 17-18 miles the 5:30 meeting time sounds reasonable.

Re: Mud Spring TH to Lone Pine TH (Four Peaks Area)

So Tyler, if I were the only one to commit would my car (Accord, Mustang is gone :( ) be okay to make it to both these trailheads. I know I can make it to lone pine from the El Oso direction but what about Mud Springs? I need to get some more Four Peaks action in.

UGH Im soo jealous, wish I had the time to head up there this weekend. Responded to your pm, Mounain lion mesa and Onyx bridge are definitely worth considering, I just love the hike out to Onyx. Another good one is bagging Pilot Rock (Im sure no one's been up there since August, plus you'll see cool...

Re: Reavis Ranch Backpack 4-10/11-10

would you be down for a late start on saturday? like after 2 PM (when I get off work)? I could meet you in AJ. I mean that is a fairly straightforward trail, so hiking after dark shouldnt be a problem, we just have to watch out for Farnsworth.
