Re: Bighorns being released into the Catalinas

Another batch being fed to the lions this week (not that I have an opinion on this, of course) ... :SB: You can watch the video of them getting nabbed from their homes in the Supes, before being transported to the Catalinas. My bet is that 1/3 of them will be dead by year end, although I HOPE I'm wr...

Totally a miles guy. 25+ miles a great way to spend a day, 30+ a bonus. Don't enjoy the AEG as much tho, whatever is necessary ;)

Hiking Iapetus

Wouldn't you like to hike this one?! It's the ultimate mountain climb in our solar system: this range ascends to over 65,000ft & is over 100mi wide. It stretches 3/4 of the way around the planet like a belt. Cool photos here too, looks like a black planet. http://phenomena.nationalgeographic.com/201...

largest & tallest saguaros

OK, this topic came up on a recent hike and I thought was interesting. After looking around some, I have the scoop on it. If you find any saguaros larger than these (or just large enough to mention for others to see), comment on this thread. Where is the largest saguaro in the world, currently? Hist...
