Bill I drove from Tucson to Sonoita via 83 yesterday afternoon, on my way to Patagonia, Nogales then home. Doing the Lord's Work. Exploding targets are banned on all National Forest Service land in both Arizona and New Mexico, according to Carrie Templin, Tonto National Forest spokeswoman.
I do believe the the area when the fire started was CNF Land.
Poor decision making by the shooter.

My T-Hill shoes last 10- 12 weeks. I have migrated over to approach shoes for hiking, I will trade off the lower mileage for better traction. 300 miles or so.

I am starting to take one day off per week plus and easy/recovery day too. In addition yoga twice a week to help with flexibility. Today was my yoga day, just got home, also my day off too. A little Vitamin I every now and then I find help with my back.

I have modified my circuit to gain less AEG in addition my hiking frequency has gone down 9 days off this 1/2 year vs 7 days total for 2015. Also, I have added more easy/ recovery days. Vitamin I helps too.
