I just checked to see if it was going to be available on Netflix, it wsan't.... that bites

Another wacky AZ flick UTurn from 1997 was filmed in Superior. One part was filmed on Apache Leap or in QCC.

I just wanted to point out that the movie was, well, sucky. But it was low budget and what can you expect. I went with my brother to see it for the hell of it.

Did they even bother to put it on DVD?

I was chatting with Preston the other day and mentioned "I think the movie cost ten time more than the town" :lol:

Back in 2008 I met the director's mother at the YardHouse at Westgate. She was out promoting the movie, and said it was co-produced by Dan Majerle. With Thunder Dan involved, it had to be good. Yeah, righttt...
Bet it shows up on the IFC channel someday.
