Water On West Pinto #212 Near Oak Flat

Does anyone know about water on West PInto near Oak Flat? Anything near Jerky Spring, Oak Flat Spring, etc.? Hoping to basecamp somewhere in there.

@SJFL You will begin to encounter water about 1.3 miles in or so alone the W Pinto Trail. I am going to assume there will also be water around the Oak Flat area too, if not just backtrack.

I was back there in 2018 and there were little pockets up the canyons. But given the past year... it's good to hear something solid.

Just so I am sure, you mean 1.3 miles in from Miles Ranch, right?

There was water in the narrow section in October, after a dry summer, so I think water in West Pinto is probably a decent bet now that there has been some snowfall in the mountains.

FYI; water all over the place. It dried up in a few spots, but no problems whatsoever all along Pinto and Spencer.
