Visting Tucson in April - Group hikes? Guided Hikes?

Post by BethR » Mar 14 2002 5:32 pm

:?: Hi, I'll be in Tucson 4/9 - 4/13, and am interested in any easy-moderate group hikes or in any guided hikes. Let me know if you have any information - Many thanks, Beth R

Hi Beth -

The only suggestion I can make is to check with the people at the Sabino Canyon visitor center. There are several trails heading out from the center, they utilize a shuttle system, and it has always been crowded when I've been there, so I would think they would at the least be able to tell you when group hikes are planned. Another option might be to check with the store The Summitt Hut. They might be able to put you in touch with somone.

hope this helps

CK1, that is good advice. The Summit Hut has a website that you could email them through. http://www.summithut.com

They should know about group hikes if there are any. I did a little research but could not find any on those days myself.
