For local communities, the influx of visitors is probably a good thing ... economic benefits of selling a room for the night, food, and/or guide services... until it becomes a bad thing with too many people, who some opine are less respectful or well-behaved than visitors from yesteryear (#broculture? )
Anyway, maybe don't try to haggle on the price of a $1.50 cup of tea in Nepal!
It's the best gopro hiking video I've seen this week!• Horror video shows Gemma Wilson and stepson Charlie being chased in Nepal
• Pair were hiking Annapurna Circuit when they were attacked by tea shop owner
• Gemma said woman hit her with wooden plank before throwing rocks at her
• Confrontation started after Gemma complained about the price of a cup of tea
