Problems with Transport back to Sierra Vista

Post by GaryCulley » May 14 2018 7:51 pm

My son will be finishing for now on Arizona Trail in Payson. We thought he would rent a car to get back to where he started. We need to rent for him and that cannot be done. So the question is: What are other options for getting that transportation from a place on the trail back to ones car? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Gary

Airport shuttles are an option...

Payson to Sky Harbor PHX
Sky Harbor to Tucson Airport TUS
Tucson Airport to Sierra Vista

The AZT website also has a page for "Trail Angels", some of whom offer shuttles:

What is the time frame? Is he in Payson now, waiting on a ride? If not, when does he expect he'll arrive there?
