The ONLY place HAZ miles/AEG stats are gathered from are the triplogs that YOU create.
If you delete a TRIPLOG, then your stats will drop by the miles and AEG that were in the deleted triplog .

Deleting a ROUTE will have NO affect your HAZ stats.

Delete the route. No problem.
HIDE the triplog... Stats are still counted and part of your totals. YOU can always see hidden triplogs. But nobody else can. EVERYBODY will see the stats in your totals or on the pie charts even if you hide the triplogs.

I tried it for the first time today. I turned the sound all the way down, so I didn't quite get the full experience. I also didn't have any map data preloaded. One thing that seemed off was that when I started activity, the first point in the track was someplace near home, far from where I pushed the button. I only had to prune off that one point before posting.

@big_load
I've had similar issues. I believe the DevTeam has gotten a fix for that in the next update.

@chumley
I thought maybe I'd seen it mentioned, but it didn't pop out as I pawed through the posts. I probably blew right past it.

:lol: I should savor each bug bug report, so I can properly appreciate the developer's sense of accomplishment and the users' sense of satisfaction as performance improves.

By the way, I was very happy with how well it tracked. Conditions were near optimal for satellite reception, apart from the phone being in my front pocket. I'll have to see how it acts in more challenging terrain.

It came to my attention today that iOS 9 has a new security feature that does not allow pageback. Unfortunately this makes HAZ Tracks & Route Scout of little use until a solution is figured out, submitted and accepted by iTunes. Sorry for the trouble, the dev team is working on it.

@joe bartels
I hope "pageback" has a different technical definition than I'm thinking of. Otherwise, it sounds pretty extreme.

Version 2.0.28 has a bug. Going into settings will lock up the app. Menus are twitchy in iOS too.

2.0.30 will be available in a few hours for Android.
iOS/Apple is a little more tricky, the dev team is working on solutions...

The dev team has implemented the following stopgap measure.
- if the app is opened within internet range the settings button has been removed in 2.0.28
