Hey hikers ~ We run a shuttle service for the northern terminus of the AZT. We often get requests for a shuttle to/from St George or Las Vegas. This is crazy expensive at $500+.

There's a much better way: catch a flight between Page and Phoenix. Contour Airlines has direct daily flights to/from PHX starting at $79 (and no baggage fees). We can shuttle you between the Stateline Campground and Page for $145.

Alternatively, Avis has a car rental office in Page. Sometimes one-way rentals are available and reasonable.

Please pass this info along to other forums to help people with planning. Enjoy your hike!

Thanks for sharing this valuable information with the hiking community! It's great to know that there are affordable options for transportation to and from the northern terminus of the AZT. Your contribution to the forum will undoubtedly be helpful for many hikers who are planning their trips. I wanted to add for those who love to travel in style and comfort, you may want to consider looking into cheap business class flights as well. As they do offer several benefits that can make your journey much more enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages of flying business class is the excellent personal service you can expect to receive.
