Off of the Florence-Kelvin Highway about a mile before the Kelvin-Riverside Bridge is a trailer park on the right hand side of the road. I forget the name but it sits behind an old white house. They watched my vehicle and are pretty user friendly and enjoy talking and helping out hikers. They will also let you set up a tent and stay on the property if needed.

Ride and/or Shuttle Sharing

I am planning a mountain bike ride from passage 39 (North Rim) thru passage 43 (Utah state line) mid to late May 2017. I can go either north or south and am somewhat flexible on the dates. Looking for somebody to ride/car/shuttle share. I'm trying to avoid having to ride all of the sections both ways. Right now I am planning to do it solo, just day rides and mostly car camping.
If there is anybody who is planning something similar and we might be able to help each other, please give me a call. Thanks.

Looking for a ride from state line trail head to Jacob Lake or North Rim 9-23-17, +/- 1 day.
I'll have a vehicle somewhere along the North Rim to state line passages.
I would be happy to help shuttle people or drop off vehicles if it would help with us getting this segment completed.
Thanks. Ross

Looking for car shuttle assistance

I am interested in doing dayhikes in the area of 16ish miles per day over the next several weekends in August and September, along any of the segments:

Happy Jack - AZT #28
Mormon Lake - AZT #29
Anderson Mesa - AZT #30
Walnut Canyon - AZT #31

Looks like it divides up into about 5 days of hiking in all.

I am looking to join up for car shuttles, or if you might be in the area and able to help out, drop me a PM!

I'm heading to Flag a couple different weekends. Not sure if that's something that would work for you, but I'd be happy to drop you somewhere and/or bring you back to the Valley. TENTATIVE plans: up early on the 26th and back mid-day on the 27th of Aug. That may change to going up the night of the 25th - who knows! Then again up on Sept. 8th after work and back down mid-day to afternoon on the 10th. If any of that works for you, let me know.

Darn I just finished those segments, we should have coordinated earlier. My lovely wife did the shuttle drive for me on #28, the others I did with some bike shuttling. Where the trail crosses Lake Mary Rd just south of Upper Lake Mary is a good start/end/access point, as is the Sandy's Canyon trailhead.

If/when you want to work on the segments between Flagstaff and the GC let me know, those will require some shuttling.

Arriving in Page to begin southbound thru-hike on Tuesday evening, Sept 12. Looking for a ride or advice on hoofing it :)
Anybody else on the trail or headed that direction?

You've got at least 1 hiker ahead of you - probably in the Superstitions by now. Look at the pull down menu on the AZT site for resources and see if there's a shuttle service for the State Line CG.

That's great to hear!
Yes, I've seen those, but now I'm almost embarrassed to even check with them on such short notice haha! Perhaps I will though.

I'm arriving Page Wednesday Sept 13th at 6.12pm and have arranged a ride from Page to Stateline for Thursday morning with Paria Outpost (see shuttle info page outpost@paria.com). To be confirmed ON arrival in Page. I'll be staying in Page Lake Powell Campground Wednesday night if you are still in Page. Otherwise you will need a shuttle or hitch along highway 89 for ~28 miles which should not be too difficult. You may have to walk the remaining 10 miles to trailhead. Doubt any of this helps as its too late (I didn't see this post until now).
Good luck.

Need ride from southern terminus to greyhound station

Hey everyone I'm currently hiking the AZT SOBO and guessing I'll finish in the beginning of December. I'm looking for a ride from the southern terminus or a town close by I can hike to to Tuscon or somewhere with a greyhound station so I can get back to Ogden, UT. Any help I would greatly appreciate.

Thumb it! That's what we're gonna do... Arizona is generally a thumb friendly state.
Best of luck

@SuperstitionGuy yeah, I once hitched from Pueblo Colorado back to Flagstaff and the rides in AZ were the kindest people! I'd assume northern AZ is "nicer" than southern overall but we are hitching after we hit the southern terminus. I'll let ya know how it goes... unless I'm dead in a ditch somewhere in which *foot in mouth*
