===========
So I went to this squirrel party and met a few HAZers.. I want to know when we all are getting together for some camping event. Not to mentiom; it's about time our friend AZPride takes a rope to the top.. How about Cochise?! -- hiking maybe climbing, car camping in style? (My car camping still includes cooking on a fire and sleeping in a tent.)

Good news! The past two nights have only dropped to about 37 degrees, and even then only under 40 for an hour or two between 1-3am. Let's hope that trend continues. Saturday night is supposed to be a few degrees warmer with some cloudiness insulating the atmosphere.

I'm out as well. I would enjoy pictures of the Sheepshead hike! And a route if anyone will be carrying a GPS.
Next time there's an event, I won't sleep on getting the day(s) off.

Film at 11 is now available. It was great to see fellow HAZers again. Thx for putting this together. I look forward to the next HAZFest!
I'll post photos very much later but here is the video I took as we sat around the fire. Meanwhile:

Nice to see Angela, Todd, Janelle, Liz, Joel and Johnathan again. Felt like the fall photo fest in Flag. Nice to meet Wendy and John. The canines--Kai, Lelo, Lola, and Daisy. Also the adopted ones Daniel and Justin, glad my patch kit could help out. And the other climber dudes and dudettes. Angela, one of your wine glasses is in somebody's custody, perhaps Todd. Thanks for the wine also.
I hope some of my pictures turn out, what a nice place. Hope all the sick ones feel better.

Anyone interested in a camp out and hike at Lee's Ferry/ the Spencer Trail in 2 weeks time? I can do another event if there is interest.

Ditto:
nice to see everyone & some new folks too,
and the felt like fall photo fest in Flag
and I hope those that were under the weather are now back to par.
Letty, your pictures were just beautiful. You captured the sun set conditions very nicely. It's an incredible area for photography.
You're welcome for the wine. We all appreciated the chips and dip to hold us over until Wendy's dutch oven cornbread was ready. And I must say, the cornbread turned out very well.
Oh, and Jonny's fresh pecan beer (sorry can't remember the name), very tasty.
Todd, if you have the wine glass, don't worry about it as both Wendy and I have several. Consider it yours now.

Agreed. It was a great trip. And other people take photos that are so much nicer than mine it's incredible. I didn't take the wine glass though, not sure who did. But I'm sure it will find a good home if it doesn't make it back to you!

Janelle - enjoy the glass AND the tupperware... to all the others, it was pure joy to meet y'all (again in some cases). Someday we'll have to get together when I can do more than croak like a sick frog
Couldn't believe how good that chili was, though ;)

I have the light up wine glass and tupperware. I will return these things with my own homemade goodies inside.
It was a lot of fun!
It was too bad many of you were sick but I am really glad we all made it out. I
love that area and I was excited you all got to see it!
We should keep doing these sorts of things, it's ALWAYS a blast when you get us all together.
(Maybe in a more central location??... I'm up for ideas!)
PS- I also have someone's chess set (missing one pawn) and a green hoodie sweatshirt- found at Sweet Rock.

Thanks to you and Todd for putting this one together! I'm just really sorry I couldn't make it, I sooo wanted to. I wasn't sick, but my Dad is, so I just couldn't leave town....I sure hope there will be a next time!!!

I'm so bummed I had to miss this but the old gal needed some maintenance! Old Gal = the Xterra. She just turned 60 so needed the expensive stuff and not just your run of the mill face lift. Tranny oil flush + radiator flush = several hundred dollars and half of my Saturday. Looks like ya'll had a great time and I hope to meet up with y'all soon. BTW.....I loved the guitar from Angela's fireside video
