You guys?
Hey I was doing fine until some folks threw in feral Cuban catfish molitos.... :?
We may hike the Anchas manana for the sole purpose of seeing if the El Rey has their adult beverage license back.

Ate at Chalo's yesterday. Had the chicken fajitas and left with a full belly. Food was good, and so was the service. Would go there again.
Still, I have yet to have a better fajita than the ones at Miguel's in Corona, CA.

That's quite the inviting scene, Hank. I'm pretty hungry right now, and that picture is not helping matters. Is that Kai that I see in the background? Love that dog.

OH yes! I second this!!

Best green chili around if you ask me, but you better not be a whimp. It's warm.

Overall, and I haven't seen it written yet - La Casita on Broad Street, downtown Globe. But let it be known that Chalo's Casa Reynoso and La Casita are both owned by the same family, as is La Casita in Mammoth. Slight differences in the menu, but the overall recipes are the same.

I stopped eating at Guayos a long time ago when the cook got drunk and set the kitchen on fire. :) Read, a LONG time ago.

I have grown up around the Mexican food restaurants in Globe, Miami area, and I've eaten at all of them. If I have a first choice, it's Burger House because I love green chili. Second is either Chalo's or La Casita. All are much better than Los Hermanos in Superior in my opinion.

Me and my wife took our time driving down to Aravaipa last weekend, deciding to detour through Miami/Globe to sample some Mexican food. Since Chalo's was the last one I saw mentioned, above, that's where we stopped. Definitely tasty. Loved their hot salsa enough that I bought a carton to go. Unfortunately they were out of XL t-shirts. (My primary source of new clothing is souvenir t-shirts. :D )

Have you ever noticed that Mexican restaurants are always out of XL size t-shirts, but have plenty of smalls. :-k
Seems odd to me, I just can't make the connection.
