July 13th, Full Buck Moon......2:21 pm

"• The Full Buck Moon July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month's Moon was the Full Hay Moon," (Farmers Almanac, located Sunday July 13, 2003 at:

I know where I'll be tonight, sitting on my back porch enjoying the view of the moon :)

I park my jeep at Woods Canyon Lake and take my Mtn. Bike to Knoll Lake to bike camp and explore.

A friend came from Florida and wanted to hike the Grand Canyon so we did it by Moonlight. It is the best view of the canyon I think. We went down on South Kaibab to Skeleton point. You don't realize how much fun glow sticks can be at Skeleton point. We hiked on out and talk about amazing views. (and the crowds aren't there!)
