HI all,
Just needed some help in finding out whats open right now within a 150 mile radius (from gilbert). I've been striking out with all the closures. I want to do an overnight backpack sun-mon (6/2-6/3). I saw the posting about Gila and thats sounds tempting. I called Saguaro Natl Mon-Rincons(Tucson) and thats open but entry is restricted from westside trailheads only. Any ideas? thanks, Brian

Not Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon. Slide rock is in Oak Creek. Both rims of the Grand Canyon are open on the paved roads.

Mary are they letting your daughter through or does she have to loop around?
I thought I heard the little resorts are still open. That just seemed odd. Seems like you could just say "oh yeah, I have reservations at Don whateveritscalled" and get through.
That bites for the local businesses.

Janet may be able to get through to go to work. She is lucky her business in in Sedona--not in the canyon. She is also lucky she has two other stores so if Sedona business dies she is not totally dependant on it.
