A few friends and I are heading up early Saturday and are planning to be back in the valley by threeish (wedding to attend). If anyone wants to join in please feel free. It appears to be a good little hike...guess we will find out.

Well, Fossil Springs was not as much of a good time as I was hoping it would be. The creek above the springs is flowing from all the rain, making it very silty. It rained all night last night (Sat. night) and the creek flash flooded early this morning. This morning the creek was flowing over the dam! Of course I didn't bring my camera.

The normally dry creek crossing on the trail was waist deep today and the current was very strong. Today was a "no swimming" day.
