Hoping to be on track to finally do a nice hike: San Jacinto Peak, sans tram ride... weather and snow allowing. April 25, 2010. I will be heading over there the week before, but if anyone wants to meet out there, I'll be hiking the various approaches to the peak all week

Travel Schedule may being getting altered... just came down with a case of Chicken Pox... I was supposed to head out today, but now will have to stay here until this clears up. If it happens fast, I should still make the west coast on time, but if it lingers I may have to replan the trip, possibly moving all the dates by 10-14 days. That may help out with the snow of the peaks...so, maybe not a totally bad thing? More later.

Well... looks as if the pain symptoms will be persisting for a few weeks more... so, travel is canceled for April. I'll have to see how long it takes to regain conditioning before I can re-schedule this mountain. Oh, well.

@imike :
Hey, did you wind up doing the Mt. Lemmon Marathon? I did the half, thought it was awesome, but boy did they have some communications issues!

I'm just getting back into hiking... running is still a ways away! Been a year of injury and illness, so that first marathon is still on the to do list... Hope springs eternal... ideally 2011 will be what I hoped for 2010. Was it a great event??
