Which is better, orange marmalade, or whiskey?

I will commit. I plan to just get my feet wet, if I make it

and if not

try another time. I might drive up the night before and stay the night.

Staying the night might afford some extra acclimation to the elevation.

We can play it by ear but if we need to fill out the day we could visit the B24 crash site on the way down. (Hmmm, I should get a new battery for my altimeter watch.)

I always spend the night up there, usually along Shulzt Pass Road if not at my daughter's. Shultz Pass road has a lot of at-large camping. However, someone is likely to pull in nearby at 3 a.m. and turn the stereo up as loud as it will go...

10am at the TH sounds fine to me. I wouldn't mind carpooling with someone.

We'll see about the bomber wreck. Having been through it dozens of times, I have another idea for an add on.

Wow, are you folks all driving up from Phx that morning or something? That is a really late start IMO. I guess it would mean, though, that I could easily drive up from here that morning as well. I'll go with the flow.

In the unlikely event anyone is going from the White Mtns. I would like to carpool. That is always my main problem with these hikes away from home--there is no one to carpool with. But maybe there is a chance someone will already be up here camping and hiking, and then is going to Flag?

Do you still think you can go, Jim? I mean, with the rib injury?

Yeah, I'll be fine. I think I bruised them and I'm feeling better.
