OK so that this one doesn't get lost in the Miami/Globe/Superior discussion, I am proposing
Sal and Teresa's Mexican Restaurant - Show Low, AZ
as the best Mexican Food in the White Mountains. Based on things I've heard. I've never eaten there, but it is now on my list.
Any debate?

Just happened to have dinner at Fiesta Mexicana on Saturday. Food and service were great. Unique and colorful decor as an added bonus.

I am AT JAVA BLUES THIS VERY MINUTE!!! I no longer have wifi at my place in Eagar, so I had to come down here to do my homework. End of the semester blues! So, they don't have the huevos rancheros, and I told the gal I had put in a plug for them, and she said that huevos rancheros is their Sunday special. Ok, so, remember that, Sunday breakfast in Springerville, has to be huevos rancheros at Java Blues!

Wife was born and raised in Show Low so we go there 4-6 times a year to visit her folks. La Casita is what some of you might be thinking of. This place rocks! Salsa is homemade so the consistency can change from think and chunky to watery, same goes for the spiciness of it. But their food rocks!

If your in the mood for B-fast and are near Pinetop you must hit Darbys. Whenever we go up Darbi's is a must hit for us.

I personally don't like it very much. Pretty boring food.

This last weekend Deb and I were staying with friends in Pinetop and on Monday (our 36th anniversary) we tried out Los Corrales which is in an old Wendys. Some of the best Mexican food we've had lately. I don't remember it's name but I had steak rolled around shrimp and then wrapped in bacon with a great sauce over it....

We kept thinking this place was some form of Bertos, but it has a full bar.....worth piggin out here.
