Skull Mesa Ruins - Sunday Nov. 14

I'm thinking of taking the 247A trail way up and back. The mileage is about the same but I'm tired of hiking the other way. 16 miles RT, ~2500' AEG. Leaving Mesa at 5:30am.

Actually, its not that I would be enthused about this, it's the weighing "how bad of a bushwhack is it?" vs. "do I want to take the long way back the same way I came?". Kind of a risk/reward ratio I'm trying to figure out on this.

Unless it's grown alot the bushwhack wasn't bad. You've done plenty worse. It's just steep
off the one mountain. If that doesn't bother you you should be good.
