rancid butter

Obviously no big news flash. Yet I'd never really read about it before so I thought I'd share what I found

While most will yawn and say duh I find the end of paragraph two here remarkable.

After reading labels a little more carefully it's official I'm pretty much a walking toxin minus whole grain bread and natural peanut butter.

Oh, see what you've gone and done, Joe!

From what I have read over the years, you should use cold pressed oils that are very fresh, and keep them refrigerated. Really good oils go rancid very quickly because they are unstable. They are quite expensive as well.
