When I was 12 years old I was acting the part of the "hippie chick" in a school play, some smartarse said "Oh Look it's Haley the Hippie" every time I walked by after the play, within a week it caught on and my best friend painted me a shirt (with the incorrect spelling) reading "Hippy Haley" after that it just became me, my long hair was always free and wild, I occasionally wore a headband or bandana to hold it back in sports, because i'm such a small fry bell bottom pants looked awesome on me and all my friends and family started buying me tye dye clothes and kits and of course I was already in love with older music and classic rock so....yeah, that's me.

For a while I was HippyHaley, now I'm just the Hippy because it kinda bugs me when people message me saying "Hey Haley", I dunno, I'm strange about that :D

Got tired of having contrived usernames, so I took the simple road.

I was going to change mine similarly, but it wasn't possible technologically when i made the effort so stayed with the first initial/last name. I don't like screen names; I can't remember one name per person let alone two, and I don't intend to say anything here that has to be anonymous. I would prefer to use my given name so put it in the signature line.

Your name works pretty well for that. I considered first initial/last name as well, but Pleale has a funny ring to it. :|

@te-wa

Are you a stickler for formality, or can I simply address you, "Yo Turd"?

I was gonna ask you yesterday.
But everytime I typed it, it sounded snarky.
I don't want anyone here to have a low opinion of me.
